Why SilverBee?

Great small businesses are more than financial assets. They are communities of employees, customers, vendors and owners connected by years of work and trust.

SilverBee was created to combine an operator's mindset, disciplined capital and permanent ownership: preserve what makes a business worth owning, improve what can be better, and build for generations rather than an exit date.

The name is personal. Bees are small but remarkably tenacious—builders whose strength comes from purposeful work and connection. The “Silver” comes from Lily, a silver dog who captured our hearts by being everything we did not know we needed. Together, the name is a reminder that the things worth building are often equal parts discipline, resilience and heart.

We are based in Southern California and are particularly interested in businesses where local ownership and continuity matter.
